Mature cedar tree with upturned branches, on a sunny spring day

Charismatic Megaflora

This was goodbye. Good to have known you.

A sunny spring Saturday afternoon. Monday the heavy equipment had begun obliteration, that afternoon it was still.

A chance to walk in from another direction and show my affection and respect before the cutting short and uprooting.

Arborvitae can be removed, tree by tree, but ice ages aren’t enough to discourage cedar from returning. Ice storms might maul some, but look at the strength of that upsweep.

Life in fullness.
